barometer: 29.81(f)
Lazy morning. Met Gary from SV Impulse, '85 Benneteau 40 out of Houghton-Hancock, from Cody, WY. They moved up from the lower anchorage to calmer waters. We went dinghying in the other direction. Saw a moose near the narrows. Explored a small creak out side of the narrows behind a spit of land for about 3/4 of a mile until deadfalls stopped us.
Water Music with Mike, Terry, and Terry's sister, Denise, anchored north of us.
Invited all to cocktails. Made us clean the boat inside and out. During cocktails, sighed second moos crossing the stream.
8:30pm towed WM's dinghy back to their boat after they broke their sheer pin in the creek.
9:15 to Impulse for a tour and discuss plans. Impulse carries a parrott..
Gary and Anne Hay, Impulse@wavecom.netBack to Doris at 10pm accompanied by bright 1/2+ moon and northern lights. In bed by 2230. 29.91(r)
